What happens if we exceed our tier limits?+

You get a 10% buffer above your active-applicant cap before anything blocks. The moment you cross the headline limit, a banner appears in the dashboard and you have a 15-day grace period to either upgrade or bring the active count back inside the tier.

"Active" means an applicant whose journey has been touched (task updated, message sent, payment recorded) in the last 60 days. Older clients still live in your records; they just don't count toward the cap.

Can we change tiers?+

Yes, both directions, prorated. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades land at the next billing cycle so we're not pulling features mid-month. Email hello@songline.au or message your contact and we'll handle it.

Is there a setup fee?+

No setup fee on any tier during the 2026 launch period. Onboarding is hand-led by the Songline team — agency configuration, bulk-loading your existing clients, and pilot setup are all included.

Solo and Starter never have a setup fee. Professional and Enterprise have a standard $500 setup that will apply once founder-led onboarding gives way to scaled processes — that's not in effect today.

What's included in the 30-day pilot?+

A working Songline workspace at the tier you're considering, 30 minutes of onboarding with the founding team, and we load existing clients from a CSV or spreadsheet so you can see the journey board come alive on day one — up to 5 on Solo, 10 on Starter, 25 on Professional (Enterprise pilot scope is negotiated with sales).

No credit card required, no auto-conversion. At day 30 you decide. If it's a yes, we keep your data. If it's a no, you can export everything.

Do you migrate our existing clients?+

Yes. The pilot includes free bulk import — up to 5 clients on Solo, 10 on Starter, 25 on Professional (Enterprise negotiated). Once you're paying, we'll bulk-import the rest of your active book in your first month at no extra cost — from a Trello export, a CSV, or whatever shape your data is in.

What about ImmiAccount integration?+

Honest answer: Songline doesn't lodge to ImmiAccount today, and that's deliberate. We sit alongside your case-management workflow as the applicant-facing layer — the journey, tasks, documents, payments, and AI assistant your clients see. Most agencies run Songline for the applicant experience and use their existing tooling for direct ImmiAccount lodgement.

Where is our data stored?+

All Songline data is stored and processed in Australia — Sydney region, ap-southeast-2. Encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, with per-tenant data isolation. Australian Privacy Act aligned.

Your client documents stay in your own cloud storage (SharePoint, Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, S3). We never copy them out.

Why count active applicants instead of seats?+

Because the value Songline delivers tracks with the applicants moving through it, not who's logged in. An agency with three agents and 250 active files gets more out of the platform than an agency with eight idle seats and 40 files. Pricing per active applicant means the agencies actually using it pay for it.

Which client-facing languages can we enable?+

Currently English, Turkish, Hindi, and Mandarin Chinese. We add new languages quarterly based on demand from paying agencies. If your clients speak something we don't support yet, the pilot call is the right place to put your language at the top of the queue.

Can we white-label the applicant app?+

Yes — on Enterprise. Your agency name, logo, and brand colours on the applicant PWA, push notifications, and email templates. Your domain too if you want it on a custom URL.
